Particular attention to the documents adopted by the regional fisheries management organizations, the European Union and some countries that have established trade measures to combat illegal fishing is paid. The work of FAO on these issues at the present stage is considered. Proposals to improve the international legal regulation of the prevention of marine living resources and such products illegal traffic in are made.
