Hi, I have hp pavilion w5160in computer, with asustek tv7154 tv-tuner card. Obrazec oformleniya tehnicheskogo resheniya. Came with winxp preinstalled. I have a settop box with rf cable input and rca output which goes inside my tv tuner card. The settop box comes with its own remote control which i use to change channels on winxp using intervideo hometheatre software. I have intervideo remote and IR receiver which is used to browse through the software.

Now when i installed win7(on another partition), WMC is not detecting the IR receiver even though its listed in the device manager, I am able to get preview of the cable signal and when i click next, i get the 'IR received not detected' error. Intervideo discontinued the software. I tried the virtual remote software, It didnt work.

I unistalled and reinstalled the IR receiver (which shows as:HID compliant user control device ) but still doesnt work the model of IR receiver is XPC-RC01 still i am able to watch tv on winxp with intervideo software and the same IR receiver which again displays as HID compliant user control device in the device manager on winxp too. So what i need to do?
